You can ignore my previous comment. I didn´t include the jquery before wp_head();.

I can´t seem to get the jquery to work. All the rest is fine, but nothing happens when I hover over the image.
I have no knowledge of jquery so I don´t know what I´m doing wrong. I have followed your steps exactly, although I don´t knwo where to put the test line in portfolio.js.

You're right. After I published this post, I realized that it would probably be better to keep the scripts in the footer.

Cool post, with some excellent ideas!

But I think that the javascript should be closer to the bottom of the page because it will maek it look like the page is loading faster.
