@Stefan: The only real reason I keep the categories in my sidebar is because the list isn't too long, and a few people actually click on them.

If I end up having more than 10 categories, I will remove them from the sidebar.

Personally I never show my categories since I do not think they are useful for the visitor. I have never once used the categories to go through all the post on a specific blog.

@Mr. I: Yeah. I really don't see the point of a "Visitors Location" widget. If you really need to know where your visitors are from, use some other tool, and don't display it publicly.

Subscription Box: A box giving options to subscribe should be there. It helps in building RSS readers. Recent Visitors: Honestly, I hate this! This widget does not deserve even a single pixel in sidebar! These are only ones that come to mind! And yes, last one, "Visitors Location", it's another useless widget!
